I believe culture is shaped by people who create relentlessly and challenge convention. My work blends storytelling, strategy, and visual thinking to build fashion experiences that are culturally relevant, immersive, and deeply connected to real communities.

Fiona Murphy is a Fashion Marketing and Management senior at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), graduating this 2026. As a multidisciplinary creative, her work explores the intersection of fashion, strategy, and storytelling, developing brand concepts that combine consumer insight, cultural relevance, and innovative retail experiences. Through projects ranging from adaptive luxury fashion initiatives to AI-powered e-commerce tools and experiential retail concepts, Fiona focuses on how brands can build deeper relationships with their audiences. She is particularly interested in creating marketing strategies and brand experiences that are immersive, inclusive, and rooted in strong consumer understanding.

Fiona grew up in Houston, Texas, surrounded by a family of fiercely passionate creatives. During the long Texas summers, she often stayed inside with her mother, who taught her how to sew, making costumes for cosplays and dresses for tea parties. Those early moments sparked her fascination with clothing as both a creative medium and a form of storytelling. In high school, and especially during the COVID lockdowns, she began exploring photography as a way to capture mood, style, and identity through imagery. What started as curiosity quickly grew into a passion for visual storytelling, shaping her approach to fashion, branding, and aesthetics today. Music is another creative outlet that continues to influence how Fiona thinks about rhythm, emotion, and expression. As a self-taught musician who plays guitar and drums and sings, and she also enjoy experimenting with piano, bass, and harmonica. Whether through fashion, photography, or music, Fiona is drawn to creative practices that allow her to explore narrative, culture, and personal expression.

Before studying fashion, Fiona worked in fine-dining hospitality, where she developed a deep appreciation for customer psychology, attention to detail, and service-driven brand experiences. That background continues to shape her approach to fashion marketing, viewing every interaction with a brand as an opportunity to create meaning, trust, and lasting connection. Fiona is currently seeking opportunities in fashion marketing, brand strategy, and experiential retail where she can combine analytical thinking with creative storytelling.
